Dear Distinguished Members:
Hopefully Ole' Man Winter is finished with us for another year.
GOOD-BYE WINTER - HELLO SPRING & SUMMER!
First of all, I would like to thank those of you who attended our Annual Stockholder Meeting on
March 15th. Your concerns were heard, your opinions were appreciated! In spite of all ideas on how
to make our club more efficient, the fact remains that to improve our overall financial condition, our
annual dues had to be raised.
Additional Dues: $10.00/month - golf / $120 Annual
$ 3.00/month - social - pool / $36.00 Annual
Additional Long-Range Assessments Increased to $35.00 Monthly
Social Increased to $30.00/Month
____________________________________________________________________________
Although these increases are minimal, over the next 8 months, these small increases
will total approximately $24,000 in extra revenue!!!
____________________________________________________________________________
In addition, the board added a golf league on Monday nights and we hope to
generate another $2,000 per month just from this addition!

Election of Directors
The following members will serve on the Board of Governors for the year 2010:
Jim Davies - Dan Harrer - Tom Havadich - Rich Jovan - Donna Malesky - George Rattay
.and our newest member ? Merle Shields

Yours truly had the opportunity to play golf on Saturday. Surprisingly, in spite of that
long, cold and very snowy winter, overall the golf course was in good shape! I can't say
the same for the pine trees and some of the shrubs, but Tom, Mark and their crew
continue to clean up - they deserve a big "Thank You."
In closing, I wish to extend to you and yours a very Happy Easter. We certainly
look forward to seeing all of you (and more often) at the club this season. We do
have many fun events planned and check your newsletters for additional information.
It has certainly been an honor serving you as President!
Sincerely,
George "Huck" Rattay

FROM THE PRO SHOP
Spring is here and it's time for golf. I'm really looking forward to my 11th season at PVCC. As most of you know, my
golf season is going to begin a little later this year due to injury. I now have more titanium in my leg than some of your
golf clubs, but hopefully, in May I'll be getting around well, and playing by June.
The Golf Committee has arranged a great schedule of events for this year. I'd like to encourage all members to
participate in our club events, they are a lot of fun, and a great way to socialize and meet other members.
Remember, prices for new golf equipment are the same everywhere now, except maybe ebay. I sell them for the same
price. If you want honest advice about fitting, and what clubs are best for you, please come see me. I have access to
every brand of clubs, and most orders are here in 7-14 days.
Exchange Days are almost finalized and will be in next month's newsletter. Copies will be available soon in the Pro Shop.
Have a great year, and I hope to see you all soon,
Matt
