Dear Distinguished Members of Pleasant Valley Country Club,

Well, the year is almost over, but we have another busy month on tap so come out and
enjoy your club.  There will be Bar Bingo at 7pm on Friday, December 9th.  The annual
Christmas Cocktail Party will be held on Sunday Dec. 11th at 5pm.  The entertainment
committee will be providing free appetizers for members.  There will be a Children's
Santa Brunch from 12-1:30 on Sunday, December 18th.

Also, there will be dinner specials on New Years Eve served  from 4-8pm!  In observance
of the Christmas Holiday, the club will be closed December 24th, 25th and 26th and will
reopen on December 27th.  Then the club will be closed January 1st thru 19th for cleaning.
PVCC will reopen on Friday January 20th with Leo's new menu.      
                    
I would like to thank all of the stockholders who attended the annual meeting. I think it
was very productive and had a lot of good discussion.  I would especially like to thank our
members who accepted nominations to be on the ballot for the Board of Governors.
Congratulations to Marty Kurta, Chuck Moore and Scott Palmquist on being elected to
the Board of Governors.
     
I hope our membership will personally thank Dan Harrer and Rich Jovan for  completing
six years of service on our Board of  Governors!        
                                                      
I would like to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a very happy and prosperous
New Year!!

Over the years, our members have voluntarily contributed to our employees' Christmas
Gifts. We ask for your support again this year. Our employees greatly appreciate the
generosity you have shown in the past and this is continually demonstrated by the very
high employee retention rate that we enjoy here at Pleasant Valley Country Club.

People sometimes fail to understand that unless 
they themselves are willing to give, they will never receive!

Any Pleasant Valley Country Club member wishing to submit a bid for the
club's General Liability and Workman's Compensation Insurance, is asked
to call Marilynn at 724-628-6360 ext. 5 as soon as possible.  Our current policy
will be expiring in January of 2011 and we welcome the opportunity to
consider your company as a possible insurance carrier for PVCC.

Christmas Cocktail Party
Our annual Christmas Cocktail Party will be held Sunday Evening, December 11th at
5:00 pm. Cost:  FREE hors d'oeuvres for members making an advanced reservation, $12.50++
for non-member guests.  Please contact Marilynn at 724-628-6360 Ext. 5 to make your
reservations by Tuesday, December 6th.

Children's Christmas Brunch
The annual Children's Christmas Brunch will be held Sunday December 18th from 11:00am to
12:00 noon.   Don't miss this opportunity to have your children or grandchildren visit with Santa
from 12:00 noon until 1:30.  Please make a reservation in order that there will be enough
presents for all of the children in attendance.

Please mark you calendars and make the necessary reservation for these events.
 

FROM THE MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE:
First of all, I’d like to thank everyone up front for helping the Membership
Committee seriously try to help PVCC acquire new members for the upcoming
year!

After several meetings, the Board of Governors has approved a very aggressive
new approach to help us achieve this goal.  And you can benefit too!  For each
new member that you bring in, you will receive a  personal rate reduction of 10%
off your current membership rate.  Plus,  we have made the first year so attractive
that most any player will find it difficult to say no...  1st year members will be
paying only $100/month  to golf!  Let’s rally together  and make an effort to spread
the word about  what a great place Pleasant Valley really is!  Good People... Great
Golf... and Very Affordable!
